The course
Three days, one certification
Two days of confined-water training on the beach, followed by a boat day in open water — theory is covered alongside your first day in the water.

Day 1 — theory + beach / confined water
SSI manual and videos, chapter quizzes, gear setup and your first skills in shallow water: buoyancy, breathing, mask clearing.

Day 2 — beach / confined water
Review and practice of core skills, with an evaluation before heading out to open water.
03
Day 3 — boat, open water
A boat trip to a dive site in the Sea of Cortez. Four certification dives with your instructor.

SSI Open Water Diver is an internationally recognized entry-level certification, valid with dive operators around the world.

Full course
$12,000MXN
Theory, all three days and your SSI Open Water Diver certification. Personal equipment rental quoted separately if needed. Swapping one beach day for a boat day costs an extra $2,000 MXN.
