What data we collect

Name, email, WhatsApp, nationality, age, where you live, your approximate number of logged dives, your certifications (recreational, technical and scientific), specialties, dive insurance, what you’re interested in, and any photos you choose to upload, including photos of your certification cards and your dive insurance. We also keep a record of the trips you sign up for and the outings you go on, to work out your member level. We don’t ask for health data or other sensitive data.

What we use it for

• To create and manage your membership and your member number.
• To know your diving level and plan courses, trips and expeditions safely.
• To contact you about your bookings, group dives and member discounts.
• To verify your certifications and dive insurance, and work out your member level and discount.
• To let you know about courses, expeditions or gear that match your interests. If you don’t want these messages, just tell us and we’ll stop.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or share your data. Your data and photos are stored with a secure database provider (Supabase) that only keeps them on our behalf.

The QR code on your card

Anyone who scans the QR code on your card sees only your first name, the initial of your last name, your member number, your level and discount, whether your membership is active, and your certification. Nothing else from your profile is shown.

Minors

If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to your registration.

Your rights

You can see and correct your data at any time in your profile. To access, correct, delete your data or object to its use, write to cluborcinus@gmail.com and we’ll reply within 20 business days.
